Who We Are
The Cotswold Foot and Ankle Clinic is based in Cheltenham and Oxford. Since 2004 our Specialists have provided Surgical care to patients with all foot and ankle problems from across the Cotswolds, seeing patients from Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and beyond.
Together, we have over 25 years of experience as Consultant Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeons, providing the full range of treatments for all medical conditions affecting the foot and ankle. In particular, the common conditions that we treat include foot & ankle injuries, arthritis, sports medicine and deformity correction in both adults and older children.
Your appointment can be arranged at your convenience; at a clinic every working day in The Cheltenham Nuffield Hospital or weekly at The Manor Hospital, Oxford.
Our philosophy is to optimise all appropriate non-operative treatments before turning to surgery. We offer all modern treatments that are evidence based and scientifically proven.

Mr Rick Brown MA (Cantab) MB BS FRCS (Tr&Ortho)
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
Mr Brown has been a Consultant since 2004 and works in the Nuffield Hospitals in both Cheltenham & Oxford. His expertise is in all conditions of the Foot & Ankle and he sees complex problems at The Oxford Universities NHS Hospitals Trust, where he is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Oxford.
Mr Simon Clint BSc MB BS FRCS (Tr&Ortho)
Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon
Mr Clint has been a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2009 and works in the Nuffield Hospital Cheltenham and the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Trust. His entire practice relates to disorders of the Foot & Ankle, with a special interest in traumatic & sporting injuries and their long term consequences.

Clinics are arranged at your convenience either at the Cheltenham Nuffield Hospital with Mr Clint & Mr Brown, or at The Manor Hospital, Oxford, where Mr Brown works in association with the Oxford Foot & Ankle Group.

There are many ways to book an appointment at the Cotswold Foot & Ankle Clinic. This may be a referral from either your GP, Hospital Consultant, Chartered Physiotherapist or Podiatrist.
For insured patients you will need to contact your insurance provider. If self-funding you may make a direct referral, but we prefer if you contact your GP, so they can inform us of your medical background.
